Well, the bees apparently weren’t invited to the Festival of the Vine this year… so we took Sam down to check it out. She got to see lots of new people and even got a lick of ice cream!

OK, I know I make a big deal about taking the monsters to the groomer, but I LOVE when they get haircuts! We had quite an eventful day.
Sam needed her wavy thick fur cut down so it was manageable. It was so thick is just kid of sat on top of her body and made her look really fat! We will let her grow back in slowly and see what it does.

Loki Before:

AFTER!!! (Ignore Sam’s windblown topknot.)

Look - the groomer made him a tie!!!!

No more fluffy butt!
Fun in the car - they mostly slept but they liked having the windows open and they of course loved getting food!
Aww they love each other!

Loki is so cute!

Stop taking pictures!

What a hard day!

Sammy is in class with three CUTE dogs. I love Boxers. And Dachshunds. Oh my gosh they are so cute. Anyway, Sammy hid under my chair unless someone was offering food. She wasn’t scared, she just felt safer in there. She wasn’t even the smallest dog!!

This is what Sammy looks like when she rips her hair out, then eats and drinks and sniffs wet grass without her topknot. So people always ask why she has a topknot? Because this is what she looks like without it.

They BOTH are getting haircuts on Saturday. Real, professional haircuts - not “Erin decided they looked shaggy” haircuts. Also, Sammy starts puppy kindergarten tonight. Yes, I know she isn’t a puppy. But she’s 6 pounds - what am I supposed to do - put her in a class with HUGE dogs? So she will be with a baby golden and a baby boxer!!! Too cute!!! She needs to start from the beginning anyway.
