“Because bandwidth is cheap…”
I had to get some work done at Kaneland this weekend so Sammy came with me. She chewed her stick for a while and then barked at me when she was bored. Then she took a nap in her stroller. She was pretty good but she’s got to learn that we can’t entertain her 24/7. She uses her cuteness against us!
Sammy got some new PJ’s to help keep her incisions covered since she figure out how to lick even with the CONE ON! (She’s a little smarty pants!) Anyway, these are super cute! She got permission to start going on very short walks today so we walked down a few houses and she didn’t even limp! Still no running or jumping or stairs for a whole month. YIKES!! We love you Sammy!!!
Sam is back home! Since she did very well, they let us take her home so she wouldn’t have to stay over night. She’s in a lot of pain still and can’t figure out why there are these funny things attached to her legs. The other day we made a very astute observation that Sam has a striking resemblance to Animal from the Muppets. Coincidence? I think not…
Sammy got a really cute haircut today!! Ken had to take her since I’m sick. Jan cut her short so she will be easier to take care of when she has her surgery next month, but I REALLY like it. Sammy’s hair gets huge knots in it even if you brush it all the time. And her hair is so thick that she looked SO fluffy and it made her look like a 10 pound dog (she is barely 6lbs!) It also looked funny under her clothes because it would stick out and give her bubble-butt. Anyway, here she is! She is so cute!
