Ice Cream!

We took the dogs for ice cream to practice for Door County. They had fun and made a mess.

Loki the princess

OK I got some complaints about the lack of blog posts… sorry… we are totally exhausted and completely behind on everything. The house is so messy I only got the living room clean today, but it hasn’t been clean in like 2 months so I guess that’s better than nothing. If I do a room a day I’ll be done by the weekend and then I can just start over again :-P

I made a princess blanket for Sammy. It’s cute. It’s pink. Loki stole it… so here is “princess” Loki. (We know he’s quirky, we love him anyway.)

Sammy @ Farmer’s Market

Sammy half asleep in the parking lot before we even leave the Farmer’s Market

Loki says…

Loki thinks all rice and/or potatoes cooked in this house belong to him.

Busy weekend

We had a busy weekend but I managed to get a few pictures:

Here is Sammy in the harness I made her and her sundress that our friend Cynthia from YorkieTalk made for her:

Here’s Loki being Ken’s buddy while he took a break to play MarioKart (which is AWESOME!)

Picture Overload

I just did a camera dump so here are a bunch of pics from the weekend.

Sammy before her appointment:

She was a little nervous in the car on the way there but she was pretty good. On the way back she passed out. By the way - Sammy is 100% better. Her knees are better than they were before. She still has to walk and swim for strength, but she should be just fine!

Sammy and I went to Naperville after her appointment. Look at the cute new harness she got! She pranced around downtown Naperville in her new outfit and showed it off to everyone.

Waiting for Grandma to come over:

Loki was afraid of the storm…

This is how Sammy wakes up in the morning, IF her hair band is still in at all:

And for a Happy “Dog-Mothers” Day, Sammy puked on my pillow and the bed this morning at 5am. Somehow she managed to NOT get it on herself so thankfully she did not need a bath. In my Zombie-like state I changed the sheets and brushed her teeth and went back to sleep for an hour before we had to get up to go to breakfast. Thanks Sam for reminding me it’s not THAT much different than having kids.
