This was on my pillow

We spent the weekend in Wisconsin… here are some highlights :)

Chris was eating a Honey Crisp Apple and they wanted some

Sam being cute - don’t let her fool you. She rolled in something stinky so I gave her a bath and as soon as I took her back outside she found something else to roll in.

A big green Gulfstream. All Gulfstreams are customized for the owner so I was thinking “Who on earth ordered an ugly green plane?” but Chris clarified that they ALL arrive with green primer before they are painted. That makes me feel better :)

The trees were changing colors in Door County.

She’s still cute!

Loki was in loving riding in the car... he just sees it as a great opportunity to take a nap.

A grill and a recliner? Is this how Green Bay Packers fans tailgate?

Downtown Fish Creek - 150 Years

Loki in Grandma’s chair with his loon and his stick.

Camp Doggie… they were not sleeping with us in that little bed. We love them but we are used to a BIG bed :) Actually, sometimes we wish they made a bed bigger than King Size. Like, ForPeopleWhoHaveLittleDogsWhoSleepSideways Size.

Leaves!

Obligatory Deck Picture (they were NOT cooperating… what was I thinking taking pictures without having treats? Silly me.)

That’s it for now. I will let Ken post about his sewing project tomorrow :D

Blue MacBook

The DNC sent us some nifty stickers!  I added them to my MacBook. :-)  I’m particuarly fond of “Ask me how many houses I own.”

The Bush Stamp

The Postal Service created a stamp with a picture of President Bush. The stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged the President, who demanded a full investigation.

After a month of testing, a special Presidential commission presented the following findings:

  1. The stamp is in perfect order.
  2. There is nothing wrong with the applied adhesive.
  3. People are spitting on the wrong side

(By way of BK.)

New Pics

This is how Sammy likes to sleep:

Here is Loki investigating the huge box of treat samples I got at the trade show.
