I ordered all 4 of us Obama shirts but they haven’t come yet so we did red, white & blue instead

We are trying to keep up on the convention but we are really busy with the house so we are doing our best. Anyway, this was one of my favorite parts from yesterday!
OK So I’ve determined that when you rent you might go into Lowes or Menards like once a year to buy light bulbs. Then when you buy a house you go there like once a week to get stuff for all those projects you start. Then when you SELL your house you are there at least twice a day buying supplies to finish all of the projects you started.
I ran out of paint. Off I go again! 3rd trip in 2 days. But the house looks awesome and we are almost done!!!
A lot of people (mostly media) have been criticizing Barak Obama for making the initial announcement of VP over SMS. I personally think it’s great that our next president embraces technology and in this case used the technology to make a personal connection to his supporters. Granted I’m sure Barak himself didn’t hit the send button but it does indeed give me comfort to know that his leadership has directed his campaign to embrace technology. In the meantime I have also signed up to receive word of John McCains VP choice via Pony Experess down at the General Store. Hopefully we find out before November.
We had to take everything out of the bedrooms while the new carpet was installed and they dogs did NOT want us to take THEIR bed. They held on until the last possible second.
Then we went for haircuts and they are so cute!! Loki’s bow says “My groomer loves me” and he looks like a little present. Sam got her bow out before we even got home.
I realized that it’s much easier to keep their attention on the camera when we are inside. Outside they are so distracted. I got like 25 pictures that looked like this. They need a yard so bad!! Sam wants to chase birds and squirrels
