Lots going on in SG this week and next. Come see us for our last 2 farmer’s markets Sept 1st & 8th!! Then, next weekend is the Sugar Grove 50th Anniversary celebration.
Don’t miss the mock drive-in featuring “October Sky” on Friday Sept 7th. A lot of people have worked extremely hard to bring this together and it is going to be a lot of fun!!
Also, the silent auction at the SG Library will start Monday September 4th and go through September 11th as part of the “Libraries Remember” activities. Barkaholics will be donating this basket of goodies.
ETA: I’ve been told it is cuter with the bow.
Loki has been extremely bummed about the new floor and he was in a particularly bad mood today. Ken found him sitting by the closet where I keep the Bully Sticks safe from little monsters and I know he really wanted one. I have been saving one of the big sticks for Loki and I figured it might cheer him up, after he figures out how to chew it!
We moved the furniture back in! I still have some decorating to do, but it’s coming together nicely. I LOVE the room!! I took these pictures late tonight so the lighting isn’t great, but it will look fantastic tomorrow.

The floor is almost finished. It is so unbelievably dusty!! There is dust everywhere!
This is my cool new dust mop. I wanted purple but Ken wanted blue. I still think it’s cool!
Loki and Sammy finally got to come out of confinement in the bedroom. Sammy thinks it is really fun to run around and slide. Loki is extremely upset about the change and has been pouting in the bedroom closet. I had to lure him out with a treat. He will be fine once we put the couches and his bed(s) back and add some area rugs.
Sammy says “Play with me already!!!”
Ken fussing with the new floor vac. He insists this one will be awesome. Does that mean it will be his job to vacuum? I still like my mop!
