OK first, they are trying to bring back jelly shoes. Scary.
Second, there are NO DECENT SHORTS anywhere. I understand that shorts are not flattering. I understand that Stacey & Clinton don’t want us to wear them. But seriously, I just need a pair to work the farmer’s market in when it’s 95 degrees. Otherwise I promise I will wear jeans or capris. It it really too much to ask to find some denim shorts that cover my butt but don’t go to my knees? I don’t want plaid. I don’t want linen. I want denim shorts with a 3-5″ inseam. Hey GAP! I hear you are struggling. How about helping me out here! I can’t be the only one!!!
I could go on for days about the lack of good shorts. I’m sure it’s even worse for girls. It’s impossible to find decent jean shorts. They don’t exist any more. I don’t know what happened from when I left High School to when I left college but they just stopped making decent jean shorts. Finding Shorts at all is hard enough but the ones I do find all have the stupid pre-rip, pre-stained garbage. I can ruin my jeans on my own.
The only jean shorts I own are all like 6 years old or older and at this point no longer wearable really. The only shorts I’ve bought since I’ve gone to college are cargo shorts b/c they are the only ones I can find that are not a disaster.
I agree! I tried to find some for Ken this year and I found ONE single pair at Old Navy and they are paper thin and scratchy and when you wash them they kind of shrivel up and no amount of ironing can make them look nice.
