Last night, Mom, Dad, Laura and I went to The Melting Pot to celebare Mom’s Birthday! I had been to the one in Oak Brook with Erin before and found this Schaumburg location to be way better! We started off with a very tasty swiss cheese fondue for dipping veggies and bread. This was followed up by a Chef salad with a sweet and tangy dressing and then on to the main course. Our platers included beef filet, beef tenderloin, chicken, shrip, ahi tuna and pot stickers. Just when we started doing our Monty Python impressions, our server brought out the chocolate! Smores style chocolate with fresh strawberries, marshmellows, cheese cake and brownie bites rounded out the meal as dessert.
